Associate’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization or a high school diploma and two years of related experience.
Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Assisting staff with daily lab tasks such as:

• Archiving paraffin and OCT blocks.
• Printing microscope slides and labeling using barcode printing software.
• Scanning microscope slides and archiving scanned slides.
• Collecting biohazardous and non-hazardous waste material and disposing appropriately.
• Taking packages to the loading dock for outbound shipments.
• Washing and autoclaving surgical instruments and other tools pertinent to case processing.
• Assisting staff with daily lab tasks such as equipment maintenance, cleaning, ordering supplies,and stocking supplies.

$15.00 per hour
